Ok, so I was going to wait till tonight to blog about this, but I am too upset to wait...I was out and about, and Tom called and said that I should come home because there were 3-4 cops in front of our house and a bunch of people that we don't know, and the neighbor's daughter, who I guss is 17 or 18 years old, and they were all yelling and screaming at each other!
I was headed home anyways, so I finished up what I was doing, and was on my way home. I was getting close and Tom called again to tell me what he knew because the neighbor(who's daughter was involved) he came over to talk to Tom...which I will get to in a bit...but I pulled up and there was a tall black man, and 2 black women and a little girl...come to find out, the 2 women, one was the mother of the little girl, and the other is the grandmother, although DOES NOT look old enough to be a grandmother, but whatever...as I am pulling up in front of the other neighbors house because I couldn't even get close to where I normally park. I guess the mother had went back down the street, come to find out, they live down the street from us, but so it was just the grandmother, the little girl and the tall guy...as I started walking towards my house, the cop said he wanted to ask the little girl some questions, so he got like maybe 10 seconds talking to her and the mother came back down the street as fast as she could, because the grandmother had hollered down the street to her...the mother gets down here, and grabs the little girl, and starts yelling at the cop about how, thats her daughter, and she doesn't want the cops talking to her, etc. etc...the mother was EXTREMELY loud! Meantime, the neighbor's daughter is sitting on the porch w/her dad talking to some other cops.
So come to find out what happened, roughly is that the black ladies and the little girl were walking down the sidewalk I guess, and started beating up the neighbor girl...why, you ask? I wondered the same thing...but then I heard the loud woman saying something about a dog, which the neighbor girl has 2 dogs. Then said something about how the neighbor girl hit the grandmother with a cell phone, etc. So much drama, but thats not even the BEST part yet!!! believe it or not....
So between all the cops, and getting stories, they decided to arrest the grandmother...the daughter LOST HER MIND!! I mean screaming, how are you going to take my momma to jail when she(pointing to the neighbor) hit my momma w/a cell phone, her dog bit my 6 yr old!! How you gonna lock my momma up, shes got a heart condition..(she obviously didn't have a heart condition enough to not beat someone up, kickin them on the ground,etc)!! I dont know, but thats just what I heard at first, but she went on and on and on, and on some more LOL...all while the grandmother is on the way to the police car, yelling for the mother to shut up and go home before she got "locked up" as well...ugh...stupid girls!! ok...sooo, the REAL KICKER?!?!?!.....
THE NEIGHBOR GIRL IS PREGNANT!!!! AND THE MOTHER SAID SHE WAS PREGNANT AS WELL!!! I couldn't tell if she was, she was wearing a baggy shirt, and she was mean mugging Tom and I the way it was, so I didn't want to stare lol...she was already cussing and yelling to the cops because we were outside...lol...hey I was just watering my flowers, and when there is 4 cops in our yard w/all those people, I think we have the right to be on our porch, unless the cops asked us to go inside or something...but anyways, so thats the drama for the afternoon...now...my opinion on all this!...
Ok, so this hits me to the core, because both of these women are pregnant, and they can't even keep themselves out of trouble, and OBVIOUSLY have NO brains in their head w/a 6 yr old girl, and beating someone up in front of her, LET ALONE the babies in their bellies!!! Then yesterday we saw a girl taking a smoking break from her job outside, and VERY pregnant, last week I saw pictures of a group of girls online, and they are drinking alcohol, and one of the girls was pregnant as well! I DON'T GET IT!! I am so sick and tired of seeing irresponsible pregnant women! I'm really sorry to turn this into a rant, but I have had more than enough of watching women with their pregnant bellies, having the blessing of expecting a child, and all that, that happiness brings, and watching them treat those 9 months as if it was nothing, and no different than any other, as if there wasn't a little person growing inside them! UGH I swear, they just don't get it, they just don't know what they have...
WHEW! ok i'm done...lol this is SUPER long and Congrats if you made it this far! LOL thanks for reading though, it makes it a little better to get it out! :)

I know what you mean .. it's very frustrating especially when they are pregnant. And it starts so young it seems, not pregnancy (though that too) but the fighting. So stupid. It really makes me worried about the kids my girls are going to meet when they are older. Makes me want to keep them inside all the time some days.
This is very sad, to me. I am sure it was a little scary since you live in the middle. I know that you would think people would know things like not smoking while pregnant, staying out of trouble, etc...however, I am sure they are doing all that they ever know. How they were raised and taught. Maybe you and Tom should think and pray about your purpose while living their. You never know what God will do...if you are open.
Hey Brooke, thanks so much for that...We are more than open to whatever God has in store for us and pray for His plan for us a lot! lol :) I really appreciate your perspective, I guess I never thought that maybe they weren't raised or taught what to do...duh me! so thank you for the reminder...take care,i miss you!
