Well folks, we are finally here! lol I am finally posting pictures. Quite a bit delayed, yes, but here they are! I have been helping Tom tape, and mud the new drywall and then painting it last night and tonight, so thats why its taken me longer to get these posted....but here we go! Oh and I realized I didn't have any before pictures(stupid me) but it wasn't much of anything: particle board cupboard, nothing on the walls...no curtains anywhere...see told you... not much of anything :)
This first picture is the main overall picture, but I will break it all up piece by piece...so lets get started...
This is the curtain that goes in front of our washer and dryer. We just bought a basic shower rod, and the cheap $1 metal shower curtain hooks, and then I had the fabric, and sewed the curtain and put some large eyelets in the top(see pic below)
This is the curtain tied back, just put a hook in the wall and bought a rope in the fabric department at Walmart for $2 that already had 2 loops on either end that was already green.
Here you can see the rod, hooks and the eyelets
This is the brown strip at the bottom, which is actually a brown sheet I got on clearance for $3 at Walmart(don't mind my dirty floors)
This is the curtain I made for the shelves for my extra laundry soap and stuff. Same fabric, and used upolstry tacks to put it up.
Just a peek behind the curtain. This curtain is lined with the same brown sheet.
This is the laundry sign I made...I love it so much! Ok, so here is what I did...the frames are from the dollar store, they were gold and came with an easel in each package, but I painted them with brown paint, used white scrapbook paper and cut out letters with my Slice machine which is a die cutter scrapbook machine thing, and then glued all the letters together with green ribbon! :)
Up close...
It says "baskets of blessings, loads of fun, hands to work, hearts to God" :)
This is the top decorative shelf
Another view of the top shelf
The brackets that hold up the decorative shelf, just wood brackets from Menards, painted brown
Starting from the left, back corner are some green bottles, from a dollar store for $1/each...
Next in front of the green bottles are some green roses, not that you can see it, but they are in a brown pot. the roses were in a bunch of flowers from the dollar store for $1, and the pot, was in a pack of 3 at the dollar store for $1, and then I painted it brown. Here is the view standing up, even though they are laying down on the shelf.
In front of the green roses is a square glass container, that actually at the dollar store it says it was a candle holder, but either way, and then I bought clothes pins and painted some of them...
Next is the basket in the back center. I already had the basket with a different liner I got at a garage sale for 50 cents I think, then I just sewed a new liner for it to match the other fabric...and then its standing up on its end
In front of the basket is the same as the other clothes pins, just these are old fashioned clothes pins
Moving on too the shelf below the decorative one....
So that is all! Let me know what you think...its been fun, but I am glad to move on to something else :)
